Electrology is science of permanent
hair removal. The treatment involves
placing a sterile probe in the hair
follicle and releasing a small amount
of heat into the hair follicle. The
heat destroys the hair regenerative
cells and the treated hair is then
removed. Electrolysis requires a series
of treatments to achieve successful
results. The speed of which one achieves
results varies with each individual
in relation to the area to be treated,
skin and hair texture and density.
Medications and hormonal changes may
also be a factor. Prior use of temporary
methods by the individual (such as
tweezing, waxing and chemical depilatories)
will also effect the length of total
treatment time necessary. A complimentary
